Like you said "standard street car" but it still is one heck of a heavy monster, the torque and horses of the 428-CJ are dwarfed by its weight. There are non standard cars out there that are built to handle the road a bit better since that weight has a tendency to make it harder to steer. Eg: 69 Torino Cobra ram-air = 14.7 lbs/hp (335HP / 445fr-lbs) 69 Mustang BOSS 429 = 12.5 lbs/hp (375HP / 490ft-lbs) 69 Ferrari 365 GTC = 9.4 lbs/hp (315HP / 268ft-lbs) 68 Lambo Miura = 8.3 lbs/hp (345HP / 279ft-lbs) Super cars are a different category altogether because nothing is too expensive to increase performance and reduce weight, but muscles is clearly not a bad one to be in. You and I can afford to buy one without selling our kidneys, are sexy as fuck and are still to this day a blast to drive.

Muscle... Power to weight ratio is crap in cars of that era. Unless you go back and do a saws-all diet, redo the suspensions and steering as well as double the power... But regardless still the sexiest car era...
